This self-made actor is well known by the name of Jeetu on various TVF series. The outstanding performances by the actor gave him a chance to appear on the big screen as the main protagonist in the film, Shubh Mangal Zyaada Saavdhan alongside actor Ayushmann Khurana.

Early Life

Born and brought up in Khairthal, Rajasthan, Jitendra Kumar is 30 years old. He was born on 1 September 1990.

Following the family legacy, like his father, Jitendra is also a Civil Engineer who holds his B. Tech Civil Engineer degree from IIT Kharagpur.

Who would have thought that Jitendra, apart from being an outstanding actor would also have been a Civil Engineer?

The actor was also said to be keen about playing Guitar during his college days which can easily be spotted from the pic where he is seen posing up with a guitar.


Jitendra has a family of 5 members where apart from his mother and father, he has 2 sisters named, Chitra and Ritu.

The actor has also been rumored to be in a relationship with the actress and his co-star from a web series, Permanent Roommates named Akansha Thakur.

Apart from permanent roommates, they have also worked together in various other series named, Pitchers, Tech Conversations With Dad, and Cheesecake.

This was the first instance where the actor got recognition for his performance and even grabbed a bronze medal in the same.After this, he started his career in acting with TVF in 2012. His over-sensitive role as a corporate intern in the video, Munna Jazbaati gained him a lot of recognition and was viewed by 3 million viewers making him a star overnight!

He then went on to star in various other videos of TVF like, Permanent Roommates, Bachelors, Tech Conversations with Dad, etc. Following this, he was spotted in a spoof video with Arvind Kejriwal in 2014.The interesting fact about the career of this actor also includes his cameo appearance in a movie in 2008. Yes, in case you just missed it, then let us remind you that he was seen as a taxi driver in the film, A Wednesday.

After years, in 2019, he finally made his foot forwards towards the big screens and made his debut with the film Gone Kesh.In the same year, Jitendra became one of the prominent faces of the industry for his role as Jeetu Bhaiya in the popular series, Kota Factory.

The actor hasn’t looked back since and soon bagged a project for another film the very next year in 2020 named Shubh Mangal Zyaada Saavdhan alongside actor Ayushmann Khurana.He has also been a part of various TV commercials including for popular brands like Voltas AC.

Personal Life
The actor holds a keen interest in paper wall arts, cricket, and playing guitar. His favorite cricketer happens out to be MS Dhoni and his favorite stars are Alia Bhatt, Shah Rukh Khan, and Dilip Kumar.

According to some reports, he was popularly known for mimicking various popular actors like Amitabh, Nana Patekar, and SRK during his school and college days.

While we all have witnessed him as the character of Jeetu in most of his series, Jeetu happens to be his nickname as well.

He is also an avid lover of dogs and loves to play with them.
