When it comes to marriage, we only tend to listen to our heart and it always chooses someone who makes us happy!!! Even despite the trend of remarriage in India is not considered as favorable, but remarriages in Bollywood are quite accepted these days. Affairs, live-in, breakups, marriage, divorce, and remarriage, it’s easier to understand rocket science than the matrix of relationship in Bollywood. While some relationships are just gossips, others have much deep-rooted existence.

It is truly said that love defies all of the logics and there is no rule in love. But these second marriages of celebrities have surprised many of their fans, and give us a message that it is okay to fall in love again and give marriage a second chance! If second marriages are happening in the B-town, there ought to be half-siblings or step-siblings who either share the same mother or the same father. Let’s take a look at the list of half-siblings of Bollywood and the kind of relationship they share:

Pooja-Rahul Bhatt and Alia – Shaheen Bhatt

Mahesh Bhatt had two children from Soni Razdan – Alia Bhatt and Shaheen Bhatt and after his marriage to Kiran Bhatt, he had two children, Pooja Bhatt and Rahul Bhatt. Soni Razdan has done everything to make Pooja Bhatt and Rahul Bhatt realize that she loves them like their real mom. Even Being Mahesh Bhatt’s second wife, she accepted her stepchildren like her own. Pooja Bhatt shares a friendly relationship with his step-mother Soni Razdaan and step-sisters Alia Bhatt and Shaheen Bhatt.

Apart from them, Rahul Bhatt is the one who is said to have maintained a distance from the family and does not stay with them. But, every year, he comes to celebrate the festival of Rakhi with his sisters. 

Arjun-Anshula Kapoor and Janhvi – Khushi Kapoor

Boney Kapoor is an Indian film producer who has produced numerous Bollywood films like Mr. India, No Entry, Judaai and Wanted to his credit. Kapoor was married to Mona Shourie in 1983 and the couple has two children, Arjun Kapoor (born 1985) and Anshula (born in 1987). Arjun made his acting debut in the 2012 movie Ishaqzaade while Anshula graduated from Barnard College.

Boney married Indian actress Sridevi on 2 June 1996. The couple had two daughters, Janhvi Kapoor (born 6 March 1997) and Khushi (born 5 November 2000). However, on 24 February 2018, Sridevi died in Dubai after drowning in her hotel bathtub. Though these half-siblings did not use to share a cordial relationship initially, after the sudden demise of Sridevi, their bond grew stronger and today, they are a happy family. 

Taimur Ali Khan and Sara Ali – Ibrahim Khan

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan are the royal and the most happening couple of Bollywood. But in 1991, the Nawab of Pataudi that is, actor Saif Ali Khan who was 21 years old at that time, married Amrita Singh who was 33. But something happened which eventually led to their divorce after 13 strong years of being married. And then, while shooting for the film, Tashan, love bloomed between Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor and after dating for about 5 years, on October 16, 2012, they married and Kareena ended up becoming his second wife.

Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s children- Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan are seen bonding well with their stepmother Kareena Kapoor. Apart from this, pictures of Sara Ali Khan playing with Taimur are often shared on social media. It could be certainly said that both Sara and Ibrahim share a great bond with step-mom, Kareena, and their step-baby brother, Taimur.

Azad Khan and Junaid – Ira Khan

Aamir Khan has romanced innumerable heroines on-reel, but in real life, he fell for two women – Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao. Even before his debut in Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, Aamir was already in love with Reena, and the two stuck by each other for almost 16 years before calling it quits.

They have two kids together named Junaid Khan and Ira Khan. Aamir later moved on to marry Kiran Rao in 2005 and they have a son named Azad Khan through surrogacy in 2011. Junaid and Ira share a warm bond with baby brother Azad and they are even close to their stepmother Kiran Rao.

Pooja Bedi and Adam Bedi

Kabir Bedi got married to Protima Bedi, an Oddisi dancer in 1969 and had two children named Pooja Bedi and Siddharth Bedi. Siddharth was diagnosed with Schizophrenia and he committed suicide at the age of 26. Kabir went on to marry a designer named Susan Humphreys and had a son named Adam from that marriage. Pooja is a famous name in Bollywood and her half brother Adam is a famous international model. They both share a warm bond.

Ishaan Khattar, Shahid Kapoor and Ruhaan – Sanah Kapoor

Shahid Kapoor is the biological son of Pankaj Kapoor and Neelima Azeem but the love and respect that he has for his stepmother, Supriya Pathak, is undeniable. After Neelima and Pankaj’s separation in 1984, both went their separate ways and married different people. Pankaj went on to marry Supriya Pathak and have two kids named Ruhaan and Sanah together.

Neelima, on the other hand, decided to marry actor Rajesh Khattar and they have a son named Ishaan Khatter. Shahid has three half-siblings from his parents’ second marriages and he shares a very warm bond with all three. He even helped Ishaan in preparing for his big Bollywood debut, Dhadak. Also, his half-sister, Sanah made her Bollywood debut with Shaandaar, starring Shahid as the main lead.

Ramanand Sagar and Vidhu Vinod Chopra

These half-brothers are the lesser-known brother duo in Bollywood. Not many people know that Ramanand Sagar and Vidhu Vinod Chopra are half-brothers. Ramanand Sagar, who is known for making the classic Ramayana series and starting a revolution on Indian television. Ramanand Sagar and Vidhu Vinod Chopra have an age gap of 35 years. Ramanand’s father went on to marry Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s mother after his first wife died. Ramanand treated Vidhu Vinod like his son as they had a huge age gap. 

Trishala Dutt and Shahraan – Iqra Dutt

Trishala is the daughter of Sanjay Dutt and his first wife Richa Sharma. But, Sanjay is now married to Manyata Dutt. Manyata revealed that it was not an easy task for her to make mother-like relations to Trishala. However, they have accepted each other and share a very friendly relationship. Sanjay Dutt has two children, Iqra and Shahraan, with Maanyata. These step-siblings share a good bond and are leading a happy life together.

Prateik Babbar and Arya – Juhi Babbar

Smita was amongst the most popular heroines of the 80s. Her exceptional acting skills and unconventional beauty were truly eye-catching. She fell in love with Raj Babbar who was already married. Their on-screen pairing helped their bond strengthened their off-screen chemistry. He even left his first wife Nadira to marry Smita. While the actor was married to Nadira, he has two children, daughter Juhi and son Arya. And with Smita, Raj has a son named Prateik. Smita died after giving birth to Prateik.

After Smita’s death, Raj went back to Nadeera and she accepted both Raj and Prateik wholeheartedly. But for years Prateik was raised by his maternal grandmother. Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol – Esha, Ahana Deol

Bollywood’s He-Man Dharmendra and Dream Girl Hema Malini’s love affair created a lot of buzz in the Bollywood. Dharmendra was firstly married to Prakash Kaur in 1954. After several years of marriage, Dharmendra started falling for Hema Malini in the year 1970, on the sets of Tum Haseen Main Jawan. Both of them truly loved each other and despite being the father of 4 children, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Vijeta Deol, and Ajeeta Deol, Dharmendra married Hema Malini without having divorced his first wife for the sake of Hema’s love.

Dharmendra has two daughters with Hema, Esha, and Ahana Deol. the relationship between Bobby-Sunny and their half-sisters, Esha and Ahana has grown from cordial to wonderful. Sunny and Bobby love Esha and Ahana like their sisters and are very protective of them.
