People have criticized the locations of the songs by saying these are windows wallpapers. However, the DC-3 Plane Wreck scene in Iceland was real. Gerua song from the movie was shot here.

It was an iconic shot as the plane wreck was there on the Black Sand Beach. It remains a tourist place for people.

2. Doraha Fort, Ludhiana

Another beautiful location from Rang De Basanti was the place where ‘Tu Bin Bataye’ song was shot. That was the Doraha Forth in Ludhiana.

6. Chain Bridge, Budapest

Chain Bridge of Budapest is famous because of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. The director had decided to shoot the climax where Nandini accepts Vanraj leaving Sameer behind.

There was another scene where Sameer shouts Nandini at the same location.

7. Pangong Lake, Ladakh

Remember the iconic climax of 3 Idiots, when Kareena Kapoor Khan stopped her scooter, walking in slow motion removes her helmet and tells Aamir Khan that his nose doesn’t come between the kisses. Of course, they kissed first, and she slapped him too.
