Recently, the news of the demise of South film actress Mishti Mukherjee shocked the fans.
It has been said that Mishti was on a keto diet to lose weight which led to her death.
However, Mishti Mukherjee is not the only name who lost her life in the desire to lose weight.
Let’s take a look at some other late celebs who met tragic death after their weight loss surgery.
1. Misthi Mukharjee
Actress Mishti Mukherjee, who went viral with her talent in Bollywood films and music videos, said goodbye to the world.
As per the reports, both of her kidneys had failed due to the Keto Diet that leads to her tragic sudden death.
Misthi made her Bollywood debut in 2012 opposite Ranveer Shorey’s in the film ‘Life Ki Toh Lag Gayi’.
Apart from this, she appeared in some films and item songs. However, the actress failed to bag any big project in the industry.
According to Mukherjee’s publicist, the actress took her last breath in Bengaluru.
“Mishti Mukherjee, who showed her acting in many films and music videos, passed away,” the statement said.
“Her kidneys stopped working due to the Keto diet. The actress was in a lot of pain. May her soul rest in peace.”
According to reports, the actress remained in the headlines due to controversies instead of her films.
There were many serious allegations against Mishti Mukherjee.
2. Aarti Agarwal
Famous Telugu film actress Aarti Aggarwal died on June 6, 2015, in New Jersey.
Let me tell you that Aarti was suffering from obesity as well as lung disease. She underwent liposuction surgery to overcome obesity a month before she died.
This surgery removed excess fat from her body. Although a doctor in Hyderabad advised her not to undergo surgery, she did not listen to the doctor.
After this surgery, she started having difficulty breathing. She was admitted to a hospital in New Jersey for treatment, where she had another operation.
After Aarti’s death, her manager told news agencies that she was suffering from obesity and lung disease, which was also being treated.
She suffered a heart attack and could not be saved.
It is rumored that she died of a heart attack, but according to reports, she died due to worsening liposuction surgery.
She was only 31 years old when she died. Her film ‘Ranam – 2’ was released on June 5, 2015, the day before her death.
3. Rakesh Deewana
Actor Rakesh Deewana, who has worked in films like Rowdy Rathore and Double Dhamaal, also underwent surgery to reduce obesity.
Rakesh died 4 days after the surgery.
Probably it is not a good decision to use surgery for extreme weight loss.
If these actors went to old school ways to transform their body, they would have been lot more successful.
4. Kavi Kumar Azad
Kavi Kumar Azad reduced his weight by 80 kg from surgery. The surgery was successful but after that, he continued to struggle with physical problems. He died of a heart attack in 2018.
Kavi Kumar Azad, the Hathi Bhai of the popular TV show ‘Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma’, died of a heart attack on July 9.
Not only his fans, but the entire TV industry is saddened by this sudden death.
Even though he died of a heart attack, according to his neighbors, the cause of his death was a habit. According to a neighbor, Kavi Kumar Azad was an alcoholic.
As per the reports, he complained of chest pain after which he was immediately taken to the hospital.
He was unconscious on his way to the hospital but was declared dead by doctors at the hospital.
It cannot be said completely that his alcohol addiction has killed him, but there is no doubt that due to the consumption of too much alcohol, the muscles of the heart start to weaken, due to which the blood reaching the heart is not at the right speed.
Significantly, Kavi Kumar was known only for his weight. He previously weighed 254 kg.
Once on the set of the show he fell unconscious and was immediately rushed to the hospital. In October 2010, he had reduced his weight to 80 kg through bariatric surgery.
He was later advised by the doctor to go through another surgery, but he did not consider the advice. He felt that if he had lost more weight, he would not find work in the TV industry.
Let me tell you that in 2008, when ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ was started and actor Nirmal Soni played Dr. Hathi.
Hathi. He quit the show due to creative differences. In 2009, Kavi Kumar Azad joined the show as Dr. Hathi.
