3 Ali Baba Aur 40 Chor

In the action-adventure movie Ali Baba Aur 40 Chor, Dharmendra played the title character of Ali Baba. The movie shows the whole fantasy world where Villager Alibaba finds a magic cave that belongs to dacoits (40 thieves). Alibaba steals their fortune and they plot a way to get it back.

4. Phillauri

Phillauri explores the love story of a ghost. The story revolves around a young man who was born under an unlucky star. He got married to a tree first to ward off bad luck before marrying his fiancee.

However, he is astounded when a ghost starts following him, claiming him her husband.

5. Tumbbad 

Tumbbad movie has been appreciated by fans as well as critics for its gripping story. This Indian origin story explores the myths of Hindu gods and the human greed for the treasure and wealth.

The story explores the fantasy world of a place that was cursed of Monsoon and Hastar the god who was never worshipped. 

6. Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi Kahani

The multi starrer Jaani Dushman has too many things other than the long list of big Bollywood names. The story has the love story of shape-shifting snakes, then ghosts, and epic revenge.

The movie is very entertaining to watch especially with its song sequences and dialogues. 

7. Bhootnath

Another epic story about the ghost companionship is Bhootnath. The story follows Aditya and Anjali who move into a new house, the Nath Villa, along with their son, Banku.

Later, Banku meets an unfriendly ghost in his home and befriends him.

Salman Khan and Amrita Singh starrer Suryavanshi tell the story of a princess who falls for the warrior prince. After the rejection, she became a ghost and haunted the castle for hundreds of years until the warrior prince reincarnated. 

10. Taqdeerwala

You must have watched Taqdeerwala starring Daggubti Venkatesh. The movie is comical with Kadar Khan and Asrani playing the character of Yamraj and Chitragupt.

The story shows the havoc when a book on destiny gets misplaced, and Yamraj and Chitragupt come to Earth to look for it. They find it in the hands of a man unwilling to part with it.

11. Aladin

Probably one of the few movies where Riteish Deshmukh played the solo lead character. However, the movie cast Amitabh Bachchan as a genie and Sanjay Dutt as the main villain.

The movie is a live-action story of Arabian Nights where a genie has to fulfill 3 wishes of his master to get free. The movies make you go to a fantasy world of Aladdin with its visuals.
