This production company was founded by Manish Mundra and is an independent production company. The production house got tremendous success after their first work with the film Ankhon Dekhi in 2014. Ankhon Dekhi

The film Ankhon Dekhi was released in 2014 and was acclaimed for various accolades such as the Best Story and Best Ensemble Cast. The film was produced under the banner of Drishyam Productions and had a rating of 8 by IMDB. the script of the movie had deeply rich philosophical undertones and was appreciated by many. The film starred various established actors like Sanjay Mishra, Rajat Kapoor, and Seema Pahwa in the lead roles.

The movie revolves around the character of Bauji being played by Sanjay Mishra, where his daughter falls in love with a boy post which everything turns upside down. With this incident, Bauji’s questioning in the world gets triggered and he loses his job disappointing the family post which he is believed as ideal by the group of members, and the story moves ahead.

Masaan

This film by the production house got released in 2015 and has an IMDB rating of 8.2. Probably one of the most beautiful works in Hindi cinema, this film remains popular amongst Bollywood fans.

Though the film didn’t include any well-established cast, still it was well versed in all terms. The story, production, and acting were well-knitted and received an overwhelming response from the audience.

The film featured Hetal Gada and Krrish Chhabria as the two children in the lead roles, playing brother and sister, with supporting performances from Chet Dixon, Vipin Sharma, Gulfam Khan, Vibha Chibber, Flora Saini, and Vijay Maurya. In dreams of returning the eyesight of his brother before his ninth birthday, Hetal starts writing letters to the famous Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan in Mannat for an eye donation camp seen by her in a poster.

Waiting

The film waiting with an IMDB rating of 7.2, is yet another beautiful work by Drishyam productions. Directed by Anu Menon, the film had Naseeruddin Shah and Kalki Koechlin in lead roles.

This film was not only recognized in India but also had a world premiere at Dubai International Film Festival in 2015 and the closing gala of the London Asian Film Festival, making its director Menon win the Best Director Award.

The film was released in 2016 and a good IMDB rating as well. The film focuses on the relationship between two people from different walks of life who befriend each other in a hospital while nursing their respective comatose spouses. Different, Right!?? Newton

This Black comedy-drama film of 2017, starring the rising Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao was truly a masterpiece. This film was universally acclaimed making it win as many as 8 accolades in the Filmfare festival.

This film not only had to be praised because of its different story plot and well-versed production, but also for the skills of the actor Rajkumar Rao. The film has a rating of 7.7 by IMDB and its plot depicting a government clerk on an election duty who forces into conducting fair voting by the members in an isolated place despite the hardships faced by him. 

Kadvi Hawa

This movie with a good rating of 8.0 on IMDB was based on the theme of climate change. Starring classic actors, Sanjay Mishra and Ranvir Shorey in the lead roles, the movie was theatrically released in November 2017.

The film features a real-life story from the drought-prone Bundelkhand region and the vanishing villages from the coastal Odisha & Chambal region of Dholpur, Rajasthan. Produced by Drishyam productions and directed by Nila Madhab Panda, the film got a special mention at the National Filmfare awards in 2017. 

Aadhaar

This Hindi language drama film was entitled to a rating of 7.0 on IMDB. As the name suggests, the film revolves around the lead actor Vineet Kumar Singh, who was the first one in his village to get his Aadhaar card made!! Released in 2019, this movie revolves around the village who are afraid to give their information to the government for Aadhar card since they are in disbelief that the government could use the same to monitor them.

The production house through the film tried to depict the real-life drama that might have happened at various sections of the society initially when the program of mandatory Aadhar IDs was approved by the govt.

Ramprasad Ki Tehrvi

Though the name of the movie sounds a bit suppressing, the movie Ramprasad Ki Tehrvi was rated 7.9 by IMDB and was released in 2019. The film revolves around the death ceremony of the Bauji, Ramprasad post which his family comes together for 13 days giving us a glimpse of their dynamics, politics, and insecurities as each one of them is on their journey to discover their selves and truth.

Kaamyaab

The last and final movie in the list by this production house is Kaamyaab released in 2020. The film with IMDB ratings of 7.9 stars Sanjay Mishra, Deepak Dobriyal, and Sarika Singh in the lead roles. The film revolves around the protagonist Sanjay Mishra who was just on the verge of accomplishing a unique record of completing his 500 films in the cinema world gets retired and decides to come out of his retirement to complete his record.
