Bollywood movies are not just scripts, these are a platter loaded with drama, acting, and songs. The whole world is just crazy and wants to know how Bollywood movies used songs to convey stories.
It looks like they are making songs to justify each moment of the story.
Many directors have confessed that they add music in the film just to reach a wider audience. And sometimes, music connects well to the audience than the movie itself.
This is the reason that we have many movies that are box-office disasters but music became a super hit.
1. Saawariya (2007)
Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s movies take music very seriously. This movie suffered at the box office because of the clash with Shah Rukh Khan’s Om Shanti Om.
However, the songs like “Jab Se Tere Naina”, “Saawariya“, and “Masha-Allah“.
2. Raju Chacha (2000)
The movie was made for kids, however, it didn’t get a good response at the box-office. But the songs like “Tune Mujhe Pehchana Nahin”, and ‘Raju Chacha title track’ became a big hit.

Roy movie has good songs, awesome ensemble cast, and sleek cinematography but not a tight script. The movie got mixed reviews from fans and critics, even Ranbir Kapoor hated this movie.

6. Lamhe (1991)
Even though filmmakers hate the audience for disrespecting such a darling story, they are thankful that the audience appreciated the music.

Another Subhash Ghai movie Yuvvraaj starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif tanked at the box office. However, the music of the movie was appreciated by everyone.

12. Dilwale (2015)
Rohit Shetty’s Dilwale brough back the evergreen pair of Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan back in the movie.

13. Fitoor (2016)
Fitoor movie is one of the best Bollywood movies but the audience rejected it harshly. But, the audience couldn’t resist the awesome songs of these movies to become a huge hit.

15. Anwar (2007)
